In Classic view the description of the photos show up only when viewing a photo in the exif windows.

In Side view if you use the lightbox view to see a photo you get the written in description.

Is there a way to have the photo description show up when in lightbox view using the Classic View? If not this would be a nice addition when doing the next upgrade.

Thanks,
Sue

I don't fully understand? and I don't think "Side View"(Side Nav?) support lightbox.

No, Side View does not support Lightbox (sorry I called it the wrong thing). But when you have an album set up as Side View, and you click on the arrows to advance the photos manually (and not use the slide show feature) it gives you the photo name as well as any descriptions you may have added to that photo by going into Manage>bulk edit.

When the albums are set up as the Classic View, the caption will show up over the photo if you have that feature on and I'm not really thrilled with having it cover the photo. If that feature is not activated the only way to see a description is to click to get the full size photo and exif info. doing this for each individual photo.

What I was hoping to do was have any description show below the photo name when looking at the photos in the Lightbox view. I don't need the counter "1 of 20" to show.

ok, I understand what you need now, but I'm sorry it seems this can't be done expect some customization, the lightbox mode is designed to show title only.

I think you're right!

Maybe that is something that could be added in future upgrades. Thanks for your help.
